Christianity in its initial stages, considered the Old Testament as its only Bible. Both Jesus, as well as his disciples and the rest of the Jewish people cited it as “the Scriptures”, as “the Law” or as “the Law and the Prophets.” The only Bible that existed for them was the Torah.

Over time, the church produced many new writings about the life and teachings of Christ in order to convey his message and doctrine. Gradually, a group of twenty-seven texts stood out and at the end of the second century they began to be known as the New Testament. All these texts were written in the Greek language with various literary genres and purposes, but respected for having been written by the disciples of Christ or people very close to his circle. In a next post, we will explain why only these 27 books were the ones that took relevance, leaving dozens of other (completely valid) texts outside the ecclesiastical canon. That said, the Gospel is made up of four books, namely: The Book of Matthew, The Book of Mark, The Book of Luke and the Book of John.
The first three books bear a similarity in their content and form, but the Book of John is totally different, it is deeper and more revealing than the others. Please read carefully the following passage from the Book of John, chapter 8 and verses 31 to 47.

John 8:31-47
31 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
33 They answered him, “We are Abraham’s descendants and have never been slaves of anyone. How can you say that we shall be set free?”
34 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. 35 Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. 36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. 37 I know that you are Abraham’s descendants. Yet you are looking for a way to kill me, because you have no room for my word. 38 I am telling you what I have seen in the Father’s presence, and you are doing what you have heard from your father.”
39 “Abraham is our father,” they answered.
“If you were Abraham’s children,” said Jesus, “then you would do what Abraham did. 40 As it is, you are looking for a way to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. Abraham did not do such things. 41 You are doing the works of your own father.”
“We are not illegitimate children,” they protested. “The only Father we have is God himself.”
42 Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me. 43 Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. 44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45 Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! 46 Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don’t you believe me? 47 Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.”
In the text, Christ speaks of a Father in Heaven (The Father of All) and a false father. The false father is not Abraham, therefore, he is not referring to the human father or any offspring related to DNA. According to Christ, in verse 44, in that ” false father” the truth has never existed, since he is a liar from the beginning and is a murderer. Christian tradition tells us that Lucifer was the most beloved and most beautiful archangel of all, who commanded in Heaven and all obeyed his order until he was filled with pride and rebelled to God. So, Lucifer was not a liar nor a murderer from the beginning, right? As a matter of fact, Lucifer is a Latin word that means “morning star” referring to the planet Venus whose refracted light can be seen even during the day. The term “morning star” was used to refer to the kings of the earth as can be read in Isaiah 14:12, which so many times and even today is confused with the “story of the devil”. Actually, Jesus Christ is called “the true morning star” (from Latin: Lucifer) in 2 Peter 1:19 indicating that He (Jesus) is the true King of the Earth. Moreover, there is no biblical passage that fully confirms the story of the Archangel Lucifer, since they are all shadows of prophecies that were addressed to a specific king or ruler.
So, who does Christ refer to when he said “you belong to your father, the devil … He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies“? Now please, go back and read John 8:31-47 again. Can you see/understand now?
And Jesus said, “whoever belongs to God (The Father of All) hears what God (The Father of All) says. The reason you do not hear (understand) is that you do not belong to God (The Father of All)” .
If your spirit understands these words, congratulations my friend, your spirit has awakened, if you do not understand but want to know more, write me your questions, leave a comment or send me an email, I will be more than happy to answer.
I will be addressing about the False Father soon, on a new post. Bless you all!
